Html Formatting Tags:

Html Formatting is a kind of method that is used to format text for better look and feel in html language. there is listed Formatting Tags such as bold, italic, underline, large and so on.

Html Formatting Tags list – 

Bold Text : 

If you want to text bold in that case we can use <b> tags, known as bold tag. <b> Tag has a opening tags as well as closing tag too. Any text that you want to bold then you must write text between <b> and </b> tag.

Here we show with an example that will show you how to use <b> tag in html.

Either we have another option to make text bold that is <strong> tag. The <strong> tag includes an added semantic importance of any text. this tags begins with <strong> and closes with using slash before tag name (</strong> ).

Italic Text : 

If we need to change format to italic text then we can go with italic tag which begins with <i> tag and closes with </i> tag. text is written between <i> and </i> tag.

Highlight a text :

html provides a possiblity to highlight a text in HTML using the <mark> tag. we can use <mark> tag make text highlighted. it change the background color of text to yellow color  which points text is highlighted.

The <sub> tag is used to display a half a words height below the other words.

The <ins> tag is used for inserting any text. it displays inserted text with underline. it starts with <ins> tag and closes with </ins> tag.
